The pen might be mightier than the sword...but the keyboard takes more skillz!

 

My very first book was a pictoral story explaining the life cycle of butterflies. Xerox paper bound by scotch tape, fully illustrated and signed in kindergarten scrawl - I was an early self-publisher. Mom kept the book for years and finally gave it back to me after I graduated with a writing degree from Florida State University. 

 

I've learned how to type since then, but I've not gotten past the self-publishing bit.
